Book Review: A Conversation with God for Women

Book Review: A Conversation With God For Women by Marcia Ford

Thank you to BookSneeze® for providing a free copy of this book for me to review.

I was very excited to receive this book from BookSneeze to review. I was quite surprised when I received it though. The format of the book is drastically different then what I expected. This book is a series of questions and answers with the answers by God, Jesus, and other biblical figures in a conversational format.

Even though the book provides lots of biblical references I still do not approve of someone pretending to talk as God or Jesus.  I believe a lot of the questions asked in the book are questions that a lot of people ask most days.  Some of the questions include, " Is there a purpose to life, How can the Bible still be relevant, Did you physically rise from the dead, Must we obey everything in the Bible, Why should we trust you, How can we have deeper friendships, Are all sins the same to you, Can prayer really make a difference, and How can anybody find good in tragedy".

Overall, I would rate this book a 4 out of 5.  I believe most people will find some useful information and help reaffirm their beliefs.  It could also be used as a topic discussion in a bible study class as well.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
